New Partnership: Otium Outdoors

(April 2016) RentLuggage is excited to announce our newest partnership with Otium Outdoors, a leader in rack equipment, who share our passion for enabling daily adventure. Otium was found in 2014 with the goal to make it easy and less stressful to use car racks. Since its founding, Otium’s products have been featured and awarded in such well known publications as Grommet, Men’s Health, and GearJunkie. 

As of March 2016, you will be able to rent Otium’s award-winning SoftRack, a portable and easy-to-setup alternative to traditional permanent car racks.

Drive a sedan with no rack but want to make a weekend SUP trip? No worries! The Otium SoftRack boasts a rack start to finish set-up in less than five minutes, multi vehicle capability, and nine customizable sizes to haul gear from all four seasons.

The goal of our NEW partnership is to ease the travel of a weekend getaway. To further explain the Otium’s use here are five adventures you can embark on the day after renting a SoftRack with us. 

1. Skis/Snowboards – Haul up to three pairs of skis or three snowboards to the top of the mountain without sacrificing car space. 
2. SUP/Surfboards – Strap up to three SUP or surfboards and hit the water.
3. Kayak – Bring your kayak with the next time you hit the cabin.
4. Home Depot run – Use the SoftRack the next time you need to pick up lumber or ladders.
5. Air Travel – No need to rent expensive SUVs. Weighing in at 5 lbs, the SoftRack makes for an easy carry-on. Perfect to take with you if you are renting a car. You can attach to almost any rental car. No need to hunt for a car rental that has a rack system.
