FAQ: How Does the Rent Luggage Close Out Special Work?
Sometimes people can’t believe the prices on our close out specials and have a series of questions they ask to try and learn more about this great deal.
Below is our best attempt at trying to answer some of the questions we receive. Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible and see how great of a deal we are offering you.
So is this item brand new?
No, this item isn’t brand new. The gear in question is a used item that has previously been used as a rental or a floor display. The gear is in working order and comes with all the necessary items to work properly. Our close out items are sold as is.
We don’t offer an extended warranty with these sales. Please review our return policy for further details. Also, many times the close out items don’t come in the original manufacturer box and packaging.
Why do you offer the close out model?
We want to sell our rentals so that we can bring new items into our rental stock every year. This pricing model also allows us to capture people that want to own a item at a fraction of the cost compared to buying new.
Do you offer new items if I don’t want a used or rental model?
Yes, on many of our models we offer the item for sale brand new. If you look product description we note if the item is new, used or for rent.
We try to offer as many different options to use our products as possible. In some case we also offer our try to buy program where you can rent the item and if you like it convert the rental into a purchase. Here is an overview of that program.
Would Rent Luggage purchase an item from me?
Yes, in certain cases we are open to purchase your item and using it as a rental. Please send us a message, we are glad to look at the item.
What brands fall under the close out specials?
We offer such close out special for Thule, Yakima, Rightline, Dakine and Evoc.
